2026/27 Season registration
Dallas Homeschool Basketball, Inc. was founded in 2003 to provide area homeschool students with the opportunity to develop their basketball skills in a competitive environment. Our season features practices starting in September, with competitive games running from November through March.

Who Can Join?
Dallas Thunder is a Christian homeschool basketball organization. Our members are homeschooling families who meet the following criteria:
Season-Long Commitment
Families make a full season commitment to the teams, coaches, and other Thunder families.
Disciplinary Standing
Players must not have left another homeschool organization or traditional school for disciplinary reasons in the last 12 months.
Volunteer culture
Parents are willing and able to volunteer during games and other events where needed.
Policy Agreement
Families are willing to abide by our Code of Conduct and Grievance Policy.
Homeschool Rule
Players must be at least 51% homeschooled and strictly meet NCHC Guidelines.
Mandatory Parent Meeting
It is required that at least one parent from each family (both returning and new families) attend our pre-season meeting.

Click the link below to fill out our online registration form, this takes 5-7 minutes. If you have multiple players, you can register them via one form. There is a $59 registration fee, but if you apply by July 31st the fee will be waived.
Note: If your child is new to Dallas Thunder, you must have an image or PDF of your players’ birth certificate to complete registration.

Once your form is submitted, a seasonal invoice will be sent directly to your email address. All players must pay to practice.
Sportsengine: Pay with credit card through Sportsengine when you register.
Zelle: Send payments to payment@dallasthunder.org (Please include your player’s name and team in the memo!)

Post-Season Tournament Registration

If you anticipate your athlete will attend the national tournament in March, you must also complete the external NCHC Player Registration form.
Note: For the team name field, you must write exactly: “Dallas Thunder”.
Transferred or Late-Joining Players?
Junior and Senior players who are transferring to homeschooling from a public or private high school, as well as any players attempting to join after the official season has started, must complete a Hardship Request.
Transferring athletes must be officially reviewed and approved by leadership before they are cleared to play.

Full tuition costs and payment plan information are detailed in our Welcome Letter and in the Policy and Procedure Manual. A completed registration and the first payment (tuition/3) is required before the first practice.
